China is an indiscrete, white and infusible mass, mainly it consists of grained kaolin, coal clay, arenaceous quartz, feldspar etc. and covered with hard glaze. Finer kinds have feldspar glaze, because of that they got milky matte tint, more common kinds have crystal-clear glaze.
China is graded to fine ceramics with white, sometimes dyed, compact, caked and shiny in fractures, translucent ceramic materials, which, depending on kind of a product, is covered with transparent or sometimes opaque dull glaze (vitreous material).
China has very high ruggedness, thermal and chemical endurance, electric insulation properties. China is used for production of high quality dishes, arty and decorative articles and sanitary ware, electric and radio-technical devices, low-frequency insulators etc.
